Our Policies

OUR POLICIES

Full Policy Statement

The following policies have been designed to provide a clean and comfortable lodging experience for all our guests.

Reservations made online are with the agreement you have read the entire policy statement.

Booking and Cancellation Conditions

Booking Policy: 50% due at time of booking. Remaining balance due 30 day(s) before arrival.


Cancellation Policy: 100% of paid prepayments refundable when canceled 30 day(s) before arrival or earlier. 50% of paid prepayments refundable when canceled 14 day(s) before arrival or earlier. 0% refundable if canceled after.


Inclement Weather
We do issue refunds for inclement weather in the case that it inhibts your ability to arrive to the property in a safe manner. This is at the discretion of the Property Manager. 
If the weather including snow and ice cause travel to be impossible we will notify you in advance.
Rescheduling allowed as available - rates may vary.
Should the weather not allow for departure the charges on the cabin will be the same daily rate with any applicable discounts.


Check In / Check Out

Check in starts at 4PM. 

Check out is no later than 11AM. 

 

Property Damage Protection

Included in your rental is a Property Damage Protection charge, non refundable. Although you remain responsible for the care and condition of the vacation rental property, Property Damage Protection provides you with protection against unintentional damage without the need to tie up your money with a large security deposit. When you agree to rent the property, you are agreeing to accept the Property Damage Protection and the terms and conditions which apply to the plan.


Pets - We are Pet Lovers!

We are a family friendly lodging and pets are part of the family.

  • Pets must be pre-approved before booking. 

  • There will be a 50$ pet fee per pet per stay

  • Pets not registered will be charged a 150.00 pet fee.

  • We do not allow certain breeds or pets over 50lbs.

  • Pets must be crated in your absence.

  • Waste must be removed when walking the dogs.

  • No pets on furniture or bedding - We understand some pets are lap dogs. If this is the case please bring something to cover the furniture and remove the comforter from the bed and put it in the closet.

  • Hair removal from furniture and bedding will result in an additional 150.00 pet fee. Simply laundry does not remove pet hair and vacuuming does not remove hair from the furniture. It is one hair at a time manually and very time consuming. If hair removal is necessary we will forward you the receipt along with photos.

    • PLEASE NOTE - Anyone with a pet knows there will be an occasional stray hair. The pet policy is directed at a pet sleeping in a bed or furniture and a large amount of pet hair becomes matted in the fabric.

  • If hair removal is necessary we will send photos and charge your card.

  • Pets must be on leash when outdoors.

 

Privacy
The views from Can U Canoe of Inspiration Valley 400 feet below are inspiring and inviting. Please feel free to explore all Can U Canoe has to offer.

  • Please refrain from going onto the decks of the other cabins.

  • Children must be supervised at all times when they are exploring the outdoors aswell as any use of the hot tub as all of the cabins are on a bluff with a 400 foot drop. 

  • We do offer homes for large parties and they are secluded away from the mainstream of the other cabins. One of the most enjoyed benefits of our cabins is the peace and serenity of being on the bluff. Loud music and parties are limited to the cabins that will not interfere with others being able to enjoy the quiet beauty of nature.

 

Fireplaces

Fireplace season is October 1 to March 31. Please feel free to enjoy the fireplace during this time.

If you are looking to book multiple cabins, please reach out ahead of time and we will be happy to accommodate you any way that we can. 


WiFi Usage

Please understand these cabins are in a rural setting and wifi speed may vary. Refunds will not be refunded for WiFi outages. We are currently working on upgrading our internet to a more reliable service.
